During a recent visit to an ISRO facility, our Co-founder and CEO, Dr. N. Vedachalam, had an engaging interaction on the live call with Gaganyatri Shubhanshu Shukla, the first Indian to on-board the International Space Station (ISS). They discussed various aspects of the mission and the experiments being conducted.
The discussion took place in the presence of Dr. Narayanan, Chairman of ISRO, along with several senior officials who play pivotal roles in India’s space initiatives.
Among the dignitaries present were Dr. Unnikrishnan Nair, Director of the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) and Chairman of the Program Management Council for the Human Space Programme; Shri M. Mohan, Director of the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC); Shri Padmakumar E. S., Director of the ISRO Inertial Systems Unit (IISU); and Shri M. Ganesh Pillai, Scientific Secretary of ISRO.
