He has the privilege of working along with the Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, Prof. Satish Dhawan, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam while in ISRO. During his 35 years of career in ISRO he held several positions (1) Group Director, Navigation Guidance Control Group (2) Programme Director, Inertial System Laboratory (3) Founder and Director, ISRO Inertial System Unit, Thiruvananthapuram (4) Director,Liquid Propulsion Systems Center (LPSC) (2000-2005). He has directed the development of the ISRO Cryogenic Upper Stage for GSLV and responsible for successful testing of the first Cryogenic Engine of India for 1000 seconds. Due to his expertise, he is still being consulted by ISRO, DRDO, ministry of HRD, ministry of defence, NPCIL. We are proud to have him as a co-founder of Bharath Space Vehicle (BSV).
